Happy New Year, lovers!

2025... can you believe it?!

2025 will be my first year of full time photography and business ownership. Very exciting. Very... a lot. ((Its fine. Everything is fine.))

2025 will also be the year I get my steps in, eat more protein, and stretch in the mornings, because it turns out being post 35 and a body owner is Not for the faint of heart!

But mostly in 2025, I'm committing to being true to my creative process and to publishing the work that makes my heart swell and my eyes misty.

(The alternative being a sense of security in posting what I think people will want to pay for... I DO want to do both.)

But I'm promising myself a little extra bravery in knowing that there are clients out there who will want to hire me because they feel the same big feelings that I do. Manifestation if you will.

Which brings us to Maya at the Museum ✨

First of all, I adore Maya. Maya is an outstanding singer and a lead vocalist in the US Army Band "Downrange." She owns a golden doodle that I'm infatuated with, learned how to swallow pills for the first time in 2024 (we're so proud of you, babygirl), and is always game for "Mayaaaaa, I have an idea!!!"

Moral of the story is please hire me to take artistic portraits -indoors- in the gorgeous spaces we're allowed to photograph in Washington DC. Yes, true wandering and wondering takes more time. But ooooh does it fill the soul. So here are some photos from a visit to The National Gallery of Art that I am incredibly proud of. Thank you Maya!! My hope is that you love them as much as we do ❤️

Cheers to your upcoming year. I'm endlessly thankful for you all!
